Manufacturer’s history: it was an Italian advertising agency and typographic, lithographic and screen printing company. It was founded in the 1920s under the name Società Industrie Grafiche Cellograf, in Milan, by Natale Sciascia, with the aim of printing on celluloid. Its production soon extended to advertising items commissioned by several companies for exhibition (advertising signs which included tear-off calendars or thermometers) at shops and administration points. Cellograf made advertising signs for countless companies, today they’re almost all gone.
