Traditional Yaure Masks are among the most refined pieces of African art. In the Yaure artistic corpus, we can note the influences of two neighbouring ethnic groups: the Baule and the Guro. Among Yaure pieces, we can note the presence of hornbills on each side of a frontal headdress, which border is finely carved and symbolises wealth.
This tribal piece also presents a very nice symmetry. Yaure masks are also famous for their crest ornaments.
