This edition of 1891, although belated, must be considered as the only true original edition due to the fact that it is the first time that the copy of Denis Diderot's manuscript had been printed faithfully and in its entirety.
Since then, it has also served as a reference for the various modern editions of "Neveu de Rameau".

The work is complete of the 2 fold-out facsimiles of the first and last page of the manuscript.

Despite the faded spine, the wear on the crowns and significant foxing at the beginning of the chapter "Notice sur les premières éditions du Neveu de Rameau",
this rare work is in good condition.
