The chair Brno is a modernist cantilever chair, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1929-1930 for the bedroom of the Villa Tugendhat in Brno, in the Czech Republic.
Very rare to find such a large number (7) of these rare items. This set was purchased in the early 80s.
Exhibited in an important, luxury furniture brokers in Milan. The 7 Brno chairs are in excellent condition. They have hardly been used and for this reason they are still perfectly solid and robust. The leather is truly in very good condition with very few traces of wear, as is the chrome plating. No flaws to note apart from very minor signs of wear. The only thing to note is that one chair is not lined on the bottom with Knoll branded fabric. This chair has identical characteristics to all the others.
