Spine crushed morocco in five gilt edged compartments, raised bands, lettering pieces in gilt on brown leather label compartment two, gilt publication date to the bottom edge; boards in pebble cloth; joints sound; spine a tad faded, rubbed, minor scuffs; boards with minimal wear to corners, a couple of minor marks.
Inside:
Scattered foxing and brown blemishes in varying degrees; liquid staining in varying degrees to the upper and/or lower margin page 1 through to 50; occasional faint toning; a couple of small textual amendments/crossings out in heavy black ink; the word FINIS with an underlining flourish in heavy black in ink to the lower margin final leaf; rare flourishes in ink to lower margins; owner's name in ink to the title page.
All pages are tightly held at the gutter.
Inner hinges are weak, the front very and just beginning to come away.
