Paar Art Deco boekensteunen met olifanten

Elegant pair of babbitt metal bookends, Art Deco style, depicting two elephants. Beautiful dark brown and slightly golden patina, base in speckled beige marble. Mention "Made in France" on one of the legs of each elephant.
Ca. 1930, France.

Good overall condition, age and wear; worn patina, some stains and lacks in the patina, scratches and micro-scratches on the babbitt and marble. Elephants move a little on their bases, need to be tightened from time to time. The pictures are part of the description.
