African Ekuk mask from the Kwele tribe from Gabon. These Masks are called EKUK masks and performed during the Bwete rituals. These are rituals to protect the village for bush spirits.
Beautiful cut mask, made with an eye for detail. With the typical for KWELE hart shaped face and a zigzag figuration with several faces on it. Very nice decorated in multi color and a fine patina.

Overall Condition: Good. Some wear and tear and a reparation on the rirgt upper side. Have a good look at the pictures.
