These cynocephalous baboon monkeys, with strong dynamics, tailless and humanoid, were both feared and admired at the same time, and played an important role with Baule imagination.
This statuette used to be placed at the entry of the royal court, it was arranged to ensure the confidentiality of all the members of the royal family, as well as their relatives.
