USA Bacon Navy revolver, cal 38 RF . Flayderman P. 466, item 8A-014
Bacon navies are truly hard to find, around 900 made and there are 4 different Models. This is the first one., second variation and the most difficult one to find.
Approx. 150 made, has a pliable loading-lever, as should be for the fis type.
Serial 74. 7 1/2 inch barrel has a perfect adres and good rifling having medium spots.
Works fine. The original grips present some scuffing at corners
This one is factory engraved good angles, pitting on left side of barrel o ver a length of 3 inch, seems to be blood pitting. color is a dark brown chocolate,
This is a rare and good Bacon navy considered as Secondary martial Civil war revolver.
