Rare shades/varieties study with selected copies of the 40 and 80 cent Bordeaux issue displayed on Bristol sheets with typed annotations.
Please note the light pink no. 49 signed by Brun, two no. 48 alone on letters and a pair of no. 49 with the rare "chargé" mark.
A selection that has yet to be expertly validated, but the shades of colour are sharp and credible overall.
