Olympe Audouard - Les Mondes des Esprits ou la via après la mort - 1880

Olympe Félicité de Jouval (born March 13, 1832 in Marseille and died January 13, 1890 in Nice) was a French writer. She writes under the pseudonym of Feo de Jouval or Olympe Audouard.
She was one of the most important representatives of the French feminist movement of the second half of the 19th century.
Also passionate about spiritism, spirituality, the great mysteries of life and death, she was also a a very gifted medium. In this book she makes a presentation of some personal experiences, but also a very interesting treatment of the subject of spiritism and mediumship in general.
Very rare book, almost impossible to find on the profile market.
The specimen here, with the preservation of the original covers (extremely rare) is in surprisingly good condition for its 140 years. Very clean on the inside, the original covers have a few additions with the pen, and the back cover is a little loose. Page 282 bears the note of some data, recorded with a pen.
