Entirely handwritten card of the famous Italian poet and academic Ugo Ojetti, sent to Mrs. Vittoria Sini of Cagliari and dated February 3, 1923.
In the postcard, Ojetti communicates some trips that he will have to make shortly thereafter.
The postcard shows on the back a beautiful image of the Madonna and Child by Giovanni della Robbia and there are also stamps of the Florence Railway and a 30 cent stamp.
Ugo Ojetti was a famous art critic, specialised in the Renaissance and the 17th century; he was also an appreciated writer, aphorist and high-profile journalist, director of Corriere della Sera in the two years 1926-1927. He also carried out important work as gallery owner, organizer and director of national artistic events.
