The first four volumes are dedicated exclusively to Spain, with a detailed description not only of the geography of each kingdom and region, but also with references to its economy, its industry.
The 5th and 6th do the same with the rest of Europe, the 7th with Asia, and the 8th with America and the rest of the overseas.
José Jordán y Frago, born in Huesca, translated the work of Nicolle de la Croix, originally printed in 2 volumes in French, copiously expanding it with the description of Spain and other overseas Spanish possessions.
Especially curious and detailed descriptions of Peru, Mexico, Brazil, and the Amazon.
