8vo, 22 x 14 cm , in full calf speckled, with title gilded on spine.
Complete set of 680 copper plates.1 missing ,however, there is an extra bis.
The bindings hold nicely, only in 2 vols, 1 board is detached and another is becoming loose.In 2 volumes the central part of the book has become weak as from photo.
Some volumes are getting weaker due to high usage.
In vol 1 worm trace in the 2 final end leaves and top of page, very small, outside printed area

vol 4 till 10 title section is Quadrupeds .

vol 11 till 20 title section is Birds.
Vol 11 - 464 pag. vol 12 - 518 pages, last gatherings becoming loose : vol 13 - 496 pag. ; vol 14 - 464 pag. ; vol 15 - 468 pages; vol 16 - 494 pages
vol 17 - 574 pages ; vol 18 - 567 pages ; vol 19 - 514 pag.
vol 20 - 515 pages + index pp . 1 Board loose.

Very rare to find the set complete.
Internally is pretty clean and fresh.The reading is really interesting too.
All volumes have 2 ex libris each at the front end leaves.
