Subscriber's copy with the suppressed plate 23, A Brazilian Sesta, showing a scantily-clad lady, which was omitted from the copies made available to non-subscribers Elegantly bound in half brown calf with raised bands and title label to spine, marbled boards.

Condition: (Very) good. Clean, almost no spotting. Tissues renewed. Minor wear to covers and spine.
BUT backcover detached and attachment of frontcover weak.

Henderson embarked for Rio de Janeiro hoping to obtain a position with the British Government.
