In 1858 the brothers Charles-Yvan Robert and Hyppolite Robert founded the company 'H. & C. Robert' in Villeret. From 1920 onwards the raw movements were gold-plated in the their in-house workshop. In 1923 the company name changed to Fabrique Minerva, Robert Freres SA, and in 1929 the company was renamed 'Minerva SA, Villeret'.
Minerva chronographs are still in demand among collectors and connoisseurs.

Original black dial. Two sub-dials. Small second hand at 9 o'clock. 30 minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock. Arabic luminous numerals. Luminous hands. White minute scale with Arabic numerals in multiples of 5. Signed Minerva in white. SWISS below the six. Fantastic rotating bezel.
Fire gilt movement Minerva calibre 19L9CH in the original condition - the movement functions. A manufacture movement of masterful quality. Movement number next to the balance 139768, movement diameter 40 mm.
