33 original chisel engravings including 9 double pages, 22 full pages and 2 teexts by Tavy NOTTON representing Orpheus, the turtle, the horse, the snake, the cat, the lion, the rabbit, the hare, the cow, the camel, the mouse, the elephant, the caterpillar, the flea , the fly, the grasshopper, the dolphin, the octopus, the jellyfish, the crayfish, the carp, the mermaids, the dove, the peacock, the owl, the ibis.
This edition of the Bestiary printed on Large Arches wove paper was limited to 200 copies numbered from 1 to 200. Copy No. 118.
The composition and typographical printing of this edition of Guillaume Apollinaire's Bestiary were completed on 10th March, 1962. Tavy Notton's original wood-cuttings were printed on Manuel Robbe's hand presses in Paris.
