Perfume Coty Cordon Vert.
A very rare antique large-sized bottle of Coty Cordon Vert perfume dating from 1905. Coty was the first perfumer to use crystal bottles, made exclusively by René Lalique. This has a green bakelite cap and the label shows that the perfume is made exclusively of citrus fruits and flowers from France.
The bottle is still sealed with its original scent. A highly valuable item, difficult to find for such old-fashioned perfumes.
This perfume is quoted in the old song Profumi e Balocchi: ‘Mentre la bambina indiscreta socchiude quell'uscio pieno d'odor di Coty’. (While the indiscrete little girl opens the door full of Coty scent).
It shows traces of a minor evaporation as shown in pictures.
