Rare first edition published in Paris, published in the same year as the better known one of Brussels.
1 volume in 8vo, about 16.5 x 10 cm, pp. [10] + 284 + [2], leather binding with titles within a label and gold friezes on the spine, red edges, marbled endpapers, illustrated title page and four full-page plates engraved by Michael van Lochom: th first is an allegorical image with Christ crucified on a tree and surrounded by six sacred figured hanging on the branches of the same tree; at the feet, five other saints spring up from five different giant flowers.
In fair condition, the cover is in excellent condition, the interior is weakened on the first pages, it has handwritten notes, old restorations and widespread moisture stains, in any case intact, well-bound and perfectly readable (see photos).
