OzeArv (b. 1980) has been painting on the streets since 1996. Based in Lisbon, he is part of the generation of street artists that emerged in the 1990s around the globe. He graduated at ESAD - College of Arts and Design where he attended distinct masterclasses in photography and graphic design while undertaking his Master’s degree in visual arts. Since then, Ozearv has been part of countless art festivals and events around the world. As a prolific visual artist, he regularly shows his works in solo and in group shows with renowned artists.
With his method, Ozearv explores creativity on paintings, canvas, cardboard and photographs. Searching for life in each creation, he uses contrasting colours and gradient patterns to understand the aesthetics of natural elements. Mixing urban thoughts, he invites us to dive in a humanity entanglement. Trough his craftsmanship, new creatures and themes seem to enfold together in a perfect alignment. With every piece of art, we are faced with an encounter of a mixed media nature that overrules above everything.
Ozearv is also a published author, constantly interested in exploring art scenes in all possible ways. He frequently devotes his creativity to teaching art in national and international pedagogic projects with the support of the European Union. As an active member of the European art movement, he has numerous vibrant creations sprawled across big scale murals. His work is part of different collection’s owned by city halls and private collectors. He can be seen on the walls of different cities in England, Belgium, Italy and in his home country, Portugal.
